"Had trouble opening the lock box to get the key.Otherwise uneventful.New Refrigerator in psudo kitchen.No running water in abreviated kitchen (bathroom only).Must bring your own sleeping bag, towel, and pillow.No stove. Outside charcoal grill (bring fuel & starter).Very quiet. Nice rooms. plenty of heat.Suggest bringing bottled water. (water in bathroom smells of chlorine bleach.I have stayed here 3 times. Slept well.Would likely stay here again. No interruptions here.I did not try any internet or cell service."

"What a charmingly thought-out experience! Jeff and the house had all sorts of little details that made for a delight of a vacation in the woods, a home rather than just a house. From the high chair for kids, to the iron and extension cords, it makes for a wonderful balance of being out in nature while still having enough infrastructure to enjoy it all comfortably."

"Everything about our stay here far exceeded expectations! So many cool artifacts to admire, a fantastic hot tub room with a view and stunning architecture. You can tell the owner has a lot of pride in the upkeep of the property and interior. We can't wait to come back!"

"This brand new build has great features for a large group, including lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and great decks to hang out on. Our favorite thing about it was the view! Just stunning!Do be aware that there is a steep gravel driveway to get to the condo and not more room to turn around, leaving most people needing to back their cars down the driveway. A bit hairy for some drivers, but ultimately no one in our group had problems. It just looked scary .Also no AC, so it can get a bit warm in the summer. The great thing is, the back deck stays shaded all day and the nights are cool. I would rent this place again!"

"Huckleberry Haus is an absolute gem of a property. The cabin was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked for a family who likes to eat in. Enjoying a morning coffee on the deck was a definite highlight! The hosts of this property are very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back for more fun on the mountain. Thank you for over delivering on this great property!"
